Felt out of shape on the Great Wall
Posted Jul. 12, 2009As the little old ladies passed me as if standing still, with a cheery "ni hao" as I was sweating and breathing hard. The views were amazing from the Ba da Ling section, the stone steps of all shapes and sizes.

A great old hotel
Posted Jun. 17, 2009We have taken the family here many times, the scale of the hotel is only dwarfed by El Capitan or Half Dome. I can recall sitting by the pool, watching the kids swim, and having the pool chair reclined with a spectacular view of Half Dome. A Plus ... more
