I don't buy it
Posted Nov. 05, 2009Ice melts quickly. It would definitely be partially melted upon reaching the checkpoint, and likely before. Furthermore, why would anyone need to carry ice chips through the checkpoint? Just get some more free ice on the other side. Jeez.

love it
Posted Oct. 28, 2009This makes me want to book a flight just to get the bag. I'm a sucker for miniature items. I love Virgin America!

I am in this giant basket right now!
Posted Oct. 13, 2009That basket is awesome! How great would it be if everyone in the basket dressed up like food and spilled out of the front door all at once?!

I'll take mint chip in a waffle cone
Posted Jul. 27, 2009I'd try the lavender and beer ice cream, but the rest? No thanks! Call me unadventurous, but I'll stick with plain ol' mint chip. Nonetheless, a very interesting "scoop" on strange ice creams.

Bloody Marys
Posted Jul. 20, 2009This is a hipster fave, for sure. Went there once and enjoyed a zesty Bloody Mary with a pickled green bean garnish.

Best Ribeye
Posted Jul. 20, 2009Cooked a perfect medium-rare (ok, "perfect" in my book means it's a little closer to rare) and topped with the most delicious herby butter. I've never had a better steak in my life.

Not impressed.
Posted Jul. 17, 2009Get your act together, Jet America! First you delay your launch date, causing me to cancel my vacation. Now I'm trying to book another flight w/ you, and your website isn't showing ANY flights available EVER. Are these cheap fares real?

Cool store
Posted Jul. 17, 2009Excited for the JFK T+L store. Goods look a lot more interesting than the standard snow globe/neck pillow types of stuff.

Up North
Posted Jul. 17, 2009Don't let the proximity to Canada fool you—Michigan summers are often sticky, sweaty, and downright unpleasant. For a true Michigan experience, head north to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. It's beautiful.

Order room service
Posted Aug. 14, 2009
When cruising, order room service and take the food with you on off-ship excursions. Room service is free, and the menu typically includes carry-able items like sandwiches.
