    Posted Nov. 04, 2009

Previously only open Monday through Saturday, Tom's is now open on Sundays. The lines are still long, but the pumpkin walnut waffle made it completely worth the wait.

This is very true. As a native, I find that July can be the coldest month in SF.

  • Worth the line

    Posted Aug. 04, 2009

Don't be deterred by the long line of tourists out front! This isn't a trap- the food is authentic New Orleans cuisine at its very (buttery) best.

  • Best Cupcakes in NYC

    Posted Jul. 22, 2009

Stay away from the crowds and the cloyingly sweet frosting at Magnolia Bakery. The best cupcakes are here down on the Lower East Side. Try unique flavors like pumpkin and red velvet.

I had a wonderful birthday dinner here once- they were very accommodating for a large family group. The food pleased all from ages 10 to 84.
