This Orlando resort has quietly hosted PGA Tour events for thirty-six years on its Joe Lee–designed Palm and Magnolia courses. You can also play Tom Fazio's Osprey Ridge, Pete Dye's Eagle Pines and the family-friendly, walking-only Oak Trail. And there's no shortage of fun attractions at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot and the Disney-MGM Studios.

Be Sure To:: Splash a shot out of the "mouse trap," the Mickey Mouse–shaped bunker at Magnolia's par-three sixth hole ... Have a foot massage at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa followed by a first-class dinner at the hotel's Victoria & Albert's restaurant ... Take the kids to the Haunted Mansion, the Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom, as well as to one of Disney's two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

Whats New:: In 2005 the Magnolia course lengthened ten of its holes, adding more than three hundred yards and resurfacing all of the greens to create smoother putting surfaces ... Disney's Animal Kingdom introduced its Himalayan-themed Expedition Everest "runaway train" in April.

Chips and Putts:: Walt Disney himself died in 1966, five years before his Florida dream world opened ... The Magnolia course's Mickey Mouse bunker was not part of Lee's original 1971 design; Disney added it in the eighties with Lee's blessing.
