Tribeca Grand

The 203-room Tribeca Grand is significantly smaller than its SoHo sister property, but you wouldn't know it from the hotel's soaring atrium, eight stories tall and naturally illuminated thanks to translucent skylights. Earth tones predominate, and the neighborhood's busy entertainment scene is woven into the hotel's fabric: there's an iMac (and large work area) in each of the eight suites, a do-it-yourself coffee kiosk on each floor, and a basement cinema that regularly hosts star-studded movie premieres. The angular rooms—butterscotch walls, velvet couches, chocolate leather chairs with white piping—sport a retro seventies look; bathrooms have weathered stainless-steel sinks and Malin + Goetz products.
