Olema Druids Hall
Olema, CA, 94950, United States
TEL: (866) 554-4255
Situated in a bucolic setting beside the Point Reyes National Seashore, this four-suite inn was first built in 1885 as a meeting hall for the Ancient Order of the Druids, a men's social group founded in London. The white-clapboard main house contains three suites, while a brick path leads to the fourth, a Japanese-style cottage with shoji doors and wooden ceilings. The suites are individually decorated with imported antiques, as well as heated hardwood floors, open fireplaces, and oversize Jacuzzi tubs. Each morning, the staff delivers a breakfast basket filled with organic fruit and pastries from the local Bovine Bakery.
Room to Book:
Although it's smaller than the other suites, the second-floor Nest is the most affordable room and provides some of the best views of the surrounding valleys.
Insider Tip:
Before heading to the Point Reyes beaches, stop for picnic supplies at the nearby Cowgirl Creamery, known for its handmade artisan cheeses.
