The modern rooms swathed in earthy colors live up to the hotel’s name and are brightened with accents of red, orange, and pink at this 11-room hotel, opened in 2006. Staff are unusually solicitous, offering coffee to be brought to your room at all hours. But the hotel’s best asset is its prime location in the up-and-coming Psyrri district. The area bridges old and new Athens: stroll the nearby pedestrian walkway that encircles the Acropolis in the morning, spend time in the modern art galleries in the afternoon, and eat in view of the Thisseion temple in nearby Monastiraki or around Psyrri’s pedestrianized main square at night. On Sundays a colossal flea market materializes just outside, and O&B’s BaRestaurant becomes a popular brunch and coffee spot.
