The 61-suite "window to paradise" has a muted Mex-Med vibe. A Zen-inspired raked-sand entrance opens to beach views from the restaurant, private rooftop patios, and infinity-edge pools. Suites have pebble-inlaid headboards, hand-carved cedar doors, wood-burning fireplaces, and telescopes for stargazing.The hotel is staffed to the nines. On-hand butlers set up laptops, coordinates appointments, recommends menus, arranges car rentals, and keeps an eye out for overzealous beach vendors. The director of romance once organized a romantic dinner for two on the beach, during which a rider on a white horse rode in bearing a ring.
