La Maison Marigny

Located along the more tranquil and residential end of often-rowdy Bourbon Street, this 1898 Queen Anne house offers four rooms with 12-foot ceilings, mahogany beds, and handmade linens. Public spaces include a private courtyard covered in bougainvillea as well the main dining room, where owner John Ramsey serves his famous "morning after mimosas" on Sundays. While many guests are content to perch on their balconies or soak in the view from the comfort of the front porch rocking chairs, La Maison is a few minutes walk from the heart of the French Quarter, and the French Market is just three blocks away.
