Hotel Diplomat

The Hotel Diplomat is located on the grand boulevard Strandvagen, overlooking the cityscape and the harbor. The 1911 Art Nouveau building is a striking white, with ornate scrolling, narrow balconies, and arched windows; within walking distance is the Royal Dramatic Theater, Berzelli Park, and the National Museum. The 130 rooms are individually decorated with bright white walls, floral patterns, and muted colors, while the bathrooms make use of marble flooring and wooden cabinets and details. The T/Bar Scandinavian restaurant and the cocktail bar follow a similar interior design.
