Owned by Francis Ford Coppola, the 70-acre property is a collection of ten cabanas, six villas, and a cottage set in the jungle of the Maya Mountains. The staff offers spa treatments and picnic lunches for day hikes to the waterfalls. At the restaurant the wine selection, though excellent, is not vast (it's entirely from Coppola's California winery), but the food is good, especially the grilled chicken with red beans and rice.
Room to Book: Riverfront Cabanas have expansive decks with wrap-around walkways and stunning views of the Privassion Creek.
