Imagine waking up in the heart of a national park surrounded by majestic mountains and crystal-blue icebergs.

That’s where you’ll find yourself when staying at EcoCamp Patagonia, a luxury resort at the foot of Chile's Torres del Paine National Park.

Offering the region’s first fully sustainable accommodation, EcoCamp Patagonia was named one of Travel + Leisure's top 100 hotels in the 2017 World’s Best Awards.

The incredible location is made even more unforgettable with the resort's distinctive accommodations: luxury domes with windows in the ceiling for the ultimate glamping experience.

The dome design was inspired by the Kaweskars, a group of nomads in the area who created semi-circular huts so as not to leave a trace when moving location. EcoCamp Patagonia also limits its footprint with hydro and solar power, while the green color of the domes helps them blend into the environment.

Expert guides are available to take guests on wildlife excursions, and glacial treks past cascading waterfalls and snow-capped peaks.

“We believe that nature is a source of transformation,” Javier Lopez, one of the co-founders of EcoCamp Patagonia, said in a video. “This is what we consider an extreme place ... a place where nature shows itself in a very powerful way.”

Guests can expect to spend the majority of their time here exploring the great outdoors, while community domes invite everyone to come together to enjoy cocktails and traditional Chilean cuisine in the evenings.

To stay at EcoCamp Patagonia, guests will need to book one of the all-inclusive options, which include transportation, excursions and meals.

Prices start at about $1,200 for a four-day wildlife safari and accommodations in a standard dome.
