other seemingly inevitable by-products of modern life. But look a little closer and
you'll find people trying to make a difference—and succeeding. To honor their
efforts, T+L introduces the Global Vision Awards, recognizing the most innovative projects
and organizations that are defending the historical, cultural, and ecological integrity
of the traveler's world. From hundreds of candidates, T+L editors nominated finalists
in seven categories and presented them to a jury of experts.
