Los Angeles is about to become home to an experience with an interesting ingredient on the menu: bugs.

The Scary Delicious: Wine + Bug Pairing is happening on Sunday, October 23, reports LAist. The event will feature Michael Consbruck of V Wine Room and Aly Moore of Bugible.com taking diners through the finer points of mixing and matching critters with different vintages.

There are plenty of places around the world where you can already enjoy a plate of grasshoppers or crickets, but this experience also includes a set of six boutique wines (which could also take the edge off for nervous bug eaters).

Bugible recently shared a blog post that could give us some insight into what to expect from dinner: meal worms, dehydrated scorpion, ants, crickets, silk worm pupae. Hungry yet? Tickets are $55-60 on Eventbrite.
