Seven months after announcing plans to expand to South Florida, WOW Air’s inaugural flight has departed Miami International Airport for Keflavík International Airport in Iceland.

It’s MIA’s first-ever service to Iceland, and the airline’s sixth U.S. hub since entering North America in 2015.

“Our residents now have nonstop service to the beautiful, historic city of Reykjavik,” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez in a statement, “as well as to all the connecting flights that city’s strategic location provides. To celebrate, Iceland’s low-cost carrier is bringing back $99 flights for Florida-based fliers.”

Travelers can book $99 one-way trips to Iceland on Thursday flights between April 27 and June 22, and there’s also the option to book $149 trips that connect to destinations across Europe.

At this time, flights originating in Miami continue to 23 other European cities, including Paris, Stockholm, London, and Amsterdam. Most $149 fares can be found between late April and late June, though availability varies depending on the route.
