Every year, Elvis Presley fans flock to Graceland, in Memphis, to honor the musician on the anniversary of his death.

This year, the 40th Elvis Week runs from Friday, August 11 to Saturday, August 19. And fans from all across the globe are expected to attend the nine-day tribute.

Individual event and concert tickets range from $10 to $50 — but for many Elvis enthusiasts, the real cost of Elvis Week is getting there.

Fortunately, travelers can get great deals on airfare from major cities all across the country. According to the travel search engine Liligo.com, there are still a number of last-minute affordable fares to Memphis during Elvis Week.

Texans, for example, should look at booking one-way flights from Austin ($59 with Allegiant). The return leg, on August 9, may be as cheap as $127.

New York City-based rock n’ roll fans can check out the festivities for $469 round-trip, while round-trip flights from Los Angeles (returning on August 18) cost only $379.

West Coast travelers will also find $180 flights from Las Vegas and $162 flights from Denver.

Travelers flying from Chicago can get $279 round-trip tickets, or spend $335 for non-stop flights on both ends of the journey to Graceland.

Of course, you don’t need to attend cover concerts and fan parties to celebrate the King of Rock. Visitors can enjoy traditional fare at the Arcade (a 50s-style diner and former Presley haunt), swing by Sun Studio, where he recorded his first two songs, and check out other highlights on a tour of Presley’s Memphis.
