Two vacations for the price of one.

March 14, 2017

Want to plan an epic European trip this summer? In early May, travelers can book a two-for-one trip to England and Iceland for only $445 round-trip.

The deal, reported by the Airfare Spot, is available on Iceland’s flag carrier, Icelandair. All flights depart from New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

A May 2 departure, for example, will include five days in Iceland, before your trip continues to London on May 7. Four days later, travelers will take a return flight home from London to New York City. Other valid dates include a May 5 trip to Iceland with a May 10 flight to London, and a return to New York City on May 13.

Additional dates can be found by searching for a multi-leg journey on your preferred search engine. Itineraries booked with Priceline (or any U.S. airline, per government regulations) can be canceled for free within 24 hours.

These cheap tickets are possible because of Icelandair’s free stopover program: Travelers can turn a layover in Reykjavik into a veritable vacation at no added cost. Stopovers can last as long as seven nights—just enough time to check out the country’s dramatic landscapes and most famous sights, including the Blue Lagoon and the far-flung Westfjords.
