There’s really nothing like a good, old-fashioned airfare war to drive down flight prices. And according to Thrifty Traveler, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines are fighting for passengers on flights to Europe.
Right now, travelers can find deals on trips to Amsterdam, Barcelona, London, Madrid, and Paris from cities all across the United States.
Tickets start at $362 round-trip (Denver to Amsterdam in mid-March), and are generally in the low- to mid-$400s.
There are $397 flights from Atlanta to Barcelona, for example, and $460 tickets from the New York City area to London. Flights to Madrid start at $401 round-trip from Atlanta, and there are nonstop, $410 tickets from New York City to Paris.
It’s also not too late to take advantage of Emirates’ deal on tickets from Newark to Athens (as low as $329 when booking four tickets or more), which is valid until September 22 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
And those cheap TAP Portugal flights to France and Spain? There are still tickets starting at $290 round-trip from Boston.
While availability varies depending on your city, Thrifty Traveler recommends searching for travel dates between this September and May 2018.
To find the best deal from your city, use Google Flights’ low-fare calendar to spot the most affordable days, and search for those dates in your preferred airfare search engine or OTA.
