Yes, $166 round-trip.

Maybe it’s a bit of Halloween witchery, but there’s a $166 round-trip flight from New York to the Philippines happening now.

The incredible deal was found by the Airfare Spot on Monday morning, and may be either a steep promotion from Philippine Air or an error fare.

Travel dates are available in June 2017, with departure dates on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Flights will depart from New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport and arrive on the island of Cebu, after a short layover in Manila.

This year, Cebu ranked in the top 10 on our list of the World’s Best islands. Travelers had no qualms about long-haul flights when the rewards are sugary white beaches, swimming with whale sharks, and diving from the tops of jungle waterfalls.  At the nearby island of Bohol, you can admire the mysterious chocolate hills.

Note that while the fare was valid at the time of posting, tickets this affordable are likely to sell out quickly. And as the Airfare Spot notes, if this is indeed an airfare error, wait until tickets are confirmed by the airline before booking accommodations.
