Not feeling a family get together this Thanksgiving? Spend the holiday exploring Bangkok instead.
Thanks to a ticket sale on two Chinese airlines and a downward trend in airfare costs, you can fly round-trip to Thailand for as little as $475.
The deal, posted by the Airfare Spot, is valid from mid October through November (Thanksgiving included) and departs from either Chicago or New York City. Flights originating at John F. Kennedy International Airport will run you $546 on China Southern Airlines.
If your city of origin is Chicago, cheap fares are available from China Eastern. Travelers have the option to travel beyond the high-octane city of Bangkok to the island of Phuket, which is home to one of the best beaches in all of Thailand.
