Today The Flight Deal found an impressive sale for destinations scattered across France.
For trips departing between January and March, travelers can fly with Air France to Bordeaux, Marseilles (Anthony Bourdain thinks this destination is about to have a major moment), Lyon, Toulouse, Montpellier, and the often overlooked medieval city of Nantes on the Loire River.
To pinpoint flights starting at $485 round-trip, you’ll have to use ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search (that’s how travel agents work their magic) to search for availability. Once you’ve found your travel dates, you can buy them directly through Air France.
All flights depart from John F. Kennedy International Airport, and your French vacation must last at least seven days to score these prices. You can probably spend that much time in Bordeaux alone, drinking the region’s iconic red wines, testing your palate at La Cité du Vin (a new museum dedicated to wine) and bedding down at a 19th-century mansion-turned over-the-top hotel.
Note that this is not an official Air France sale, and tickets at this price point will likely sell out quickly. So we recommend reserving a seat now, and spending the next few months planning your French holiday.
