Why Go:

The Metropolitan Hotel boasts the London outpost of Nobu on the ground floor, as well as a very hot hotel bar, is right in the middle of London (views over Hyde Park and Mayfair), and has a 2-day minimum special running that makes an upscale visit to London very possible. The hotel's website says that you can book a room from £199, but I was seeing prices as low as £179 when I tested a few dates, both weekend and midweek.
