Horror fans rejoice: a piece of haunted history is making a comeback. The Last Chance Gas Station from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre film will become a restaurant and hotel.

According to a KXAN report, Texas businessman Roy Rose is partnering with Ari Lehman—who played Jason Voorhees in the first Friday the 13th film—to create a unique “horror barbecue resort” complete with accommodations, an outdoor stage for live music, and a memorabilia shop. “We are restoring the Smoker House saved as much original wood as possible, added some from another barn that had fallen down,” reads a post on the resort's Facebook page. “Put concrete underneath. This time the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Gas Station is being restored in a correct manor.”

Though the site is still under construction, progress is coming along nicely. We Slaughter Barbecue now has a prominent sign and a bridge leading to the cabins from the entertainment area, and Rose hopes to open later this summer.
