Comment on: (Article) 10 Unexpected U.S. Wine Trails

I really like this article because most ignorant, so-called wine connoisseurs believe that only good wine comes from Napa/Sonoma, France, Italy, Chile, and Argentina. Virginia has an extensive winery corridor along I81 (along Appalachian piedmont) and I66 (toward Washington, D.C.). My girlfriend and I have been on a mission lately to try these wineries and have found some great cabs, merlots, and local flavors. The charm of some of these wineries is part of the fun and many of the owners guide the tours themselves and are quite friendly. Wine tasting is a great way to spend a weekend with your significant other.
