Well worth a visit. Quiet, friendly ... quite a contrast to the "in your face" Santa Barbara crowd. Remind us of the reason why we vacation: not to be seen, but to enjoy some time together with your loved one. Golf course is friendly, yet requires your full attention: don;t get distracted by the surrounding mountain views if you want to beat your handicap. My wife says the spa is flawless (I cannot confirm personally, except to say that she was very happy!). Food at the Oak was perfect. We took a bike ($5 rental) into town on a bike path, some really interesting galleries: thank goodness I left my credit card back in the room.
