PLEASE do not take this article's advice and rent a home near Disney for your stay. As a person living in Orlando for the past 20 years, I have seen this area (Kissimmee) become dangerous, with unwitting tourists as a favorite prey. I am talking home invasions, robberies, assault. You are much, much safer staying at the hotels on property. Also-his article advises people to rent cars for their stay instead of using Disney transport. Be advised, parking your car at area attractions runs $12-$14 per day, which can really add up.
