My husband and me went to Clam Shack on August 9th, 2009. We ordered two 1.27 lb lobsters at price of $13.89 a pound. So two lobaster cost $37. We had two 1.5 lb lobster at Moser's Lobster for $25, just a day before.
We come into this restraunt at 4:00 pm, only one group ahead of us. After long waiting (no one to help), we placed our order and waited until 5:00pm to have our lobste servered.
One of lobster was SICKED! With all the black dot and holes in lobster shell, they server this lobster to us! Afte I questioned about it, they recommand we give it a try! We open one chaws and found the meet inside was as bad as skin!
They replaced this lobster finaly. But I was VERY concerned that the whole lobster pond could have the same issue.

I visited 4 of other lobster shack on the list, they both good, except Clam Shack in Kennebunkport. It's a shame for this list.
P.S. we visit Maine from NYC almost every year.
