A few years ago the proprietor of a local 'farmstore' developed Asparagus ice cream, pairing the produce that made Hadley, MA famous with the dairy product from her family's farm (with which all the ice cream at her store is made.) It is seasonal but causes a sensation - check out Flayvors of Cook Farm when you can get out to Western MA in the spring.
