The City of Light is known for streets steeped in history, stunning sights and nightlife, and of course legendary food. This quick video is an episode of the Travel + Leisure video series called #TLMoment, which captures the serendipitous and unexpected travel moments we experience around the globe.

The pastry kitchen at the Peninsula Paris’s restaurant, L'Oiseau Blanc, takes creativity to new heights with its aviation themed interior and dessert dishes. Here, one of their signature offerings, L'Envol, being delicately constructed by Chef Julien Alvarez to look like a plane’s propeller. The spot also has a bar and terrace with a retractable roof, so guests can enjoy view of the city while tasting the sweet treats it has to offer. Just a quick bite of one of the best desserts Paris has to offer.
