Between long security lines, delayed flights, and mind-numbing jet lag, it seems impossible to shake the anxiety that comes along with traveling. Thankfully, Plaza Premium Lounges offer a place to decompress before taking off—regardless of airline or traveler loyalty memberships. Their first European lounge recently opened at London Heathrow.

Besides the private resting suites, shower rooms, Wi-Fi, and a champagne bar, the space is also equipped with a Wellness Spa that features treatments from British organic spa and skincare brand, Ila. Jet setters can book 15-minute and 30-minute appointments that are designed to combat common travel ailments like high blood pressure, pre-flight jitters, and dehydration by using natural ingredients and herbs from Ila.

The signature treatment, Zone Reflexology with Vital Energy, was created exclusively for Plaza Premium and consists of energy cleansing and deep breathing to calm nerves, a reflexology massage for tension relief, and a Tibetan ritual cold compress on the eyes to deter dark circles. Also on the spa menu: an Eye Indulgence for the prevention of migraines and puffiness and an Adreno Exhaustion Wrap to protect against rising blood pressure.

The lounge is located in Heathrow's brand new Terminal 2 - The Queen's Terminal, with another set to arrive in Terminal 4 by the end of the year.

Access to the lounge costs £38. Spa services range from £25-£45, and can be booked at plaza-network.com or in person.
