New Golf Shirt Made from...Corn?

Call it Corn of the Loom. Verterra Sport has unveiled an eco-friendly golf shirt made from corn. Though corn fibers have been used before, this durable and blendable formula the cream of the crop. The shirts come in two varieties: 52% corn available in five classic colors and 88% corn available in green or black.

Production of the shirts uses 40% less energy than average, which may ease guilt about the sprinkler systems, pesticides, and water-bottle usage during your round. The sweat-wicking material will keep you as fresh as a farmstand. Look for the high-performance corn in pro-shops (not restaurants) around the country.
