Today, the Mandarin Oriental's hotly anticipated new Paris location opens its doors, complete with 138 rooms, a prime location, and (of course) a killer spa. Located at 251 rue Saint-Honoré in the city's First Arrondissement, the art deco-meets-contemporary property is literally steps away from a number of favorite Parisian sights, like the Louvre, the Tuileries Gardens, and the Garnier Opera.
Paris' Mandarin Oriental is pulling out all the stops when it comes to food—fitting for such a gastronomically obsessed city.
Foodies will enjoy the two restaurants (both helmed by Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx, who famously left Bordeaux for the City of Light), as well as the live-cooking counter where they can watch chefs prepare Asian delicacies like satay and nasi goreng before their eyes. There's even a private 6-8 person table located in an indoor garden.
To celebrate the opening of their 29th location, the Mandarin Oriental is offering the "J'aime Paris" package, which gives customers an in-hotel credit ($435 per room, $725 per suite) for the spa or restaurants during stays between July 17 and August 28 at their new location. Room rates start at $1,100 a night and the offer requires a minimum stay of 2 nights. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more coverage in our upcoming September issue!
