In a city famous for both its outdoorsiness and its booming craft beer scene, it seems only natural that the two combine. Denver’s recently-renovated Hotel Teatro has done just that, with its new Brewery-by-Bike tour.

Guests can now take vintage cruisers around the Mile High City, following a specially curated map pinpointing the best brewery tours and tastings. Jordan Chavez, the hotel’s concierge, whittles down the region’s 200-plus breweries into a manageable few based on guest preferences. (In the mood for a stout? Chavez will make sure you stop at Great Divide Brewing Co., for the chocolate oak-aged Yeti Imperial Stout).

Along with their customized map, guests receive a beer-lovers’ welcoming gift of cheese, charcuterie, and two local beers. And, for the next day, a “Hair of the Dog” breakfast in bed. All this in a T+L 500 Hotel no less.

Word to the wise? Anyone not used to the high altitude might want to take it easy with their tours. Physical activity, alcohol, and altitude adjustment never mix well. But with that Hair of the Dog breakfast to look forward to…
