It will join the area's other attractions, from Dollywood to the Smoky Mountain Opry.

Pigeon Forge, a vacation destination in eastern Tennessee with attractions including Dolly Parton's Dollywood, is expected to soon also offer a National Enquirer-themed attraction, according to The Mountain Press.

The attraction's development is being led by Robin Turner, who previously brought another to Pigeon Forge, and Bob Masterson, who was previously president of Ripley’s Entertainment, which has attractions in the area.

In addition to Dollywood, the Enquirer project would join existing attractions from the Smoky Mountain Opry to the Hollywood Wax Museum to crime museum Alcatraz East.

Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville, Tennessee, are a family vacation haven near Great Smoky Mountains National Park, offering tourist attractions and plenty of nature right next to each other.

Not many details are confirmed at this point, but AdWeek reports that one interactive exhibit would give visitors to the attraction the option to create their own tabloid headlines (presumably with that nostalgic Enquirer front page styling?) to share online.
