Getting something in the mail is always a nice surprise—especially when that something is a mental vacation in a box. Zhestia is an "at-home traveling experience," featuring everything you need to partake in one of the world's many traditions without leaving home. Each box includes a wooden box with an acrylic top that doubles as a decorative tray, how-to guide walking you through how to use the box's contents, a photo book featuring the region, location-specific music, and the ritual ingredients, of course.
The first box will transport you to a Hakkam in Marrakesh: a photo book featuring highlights from past and present Marrakesh, regional music, Argan oil, black soap, an exfoliating kessah glove, and Morrocan mint tea. Other locations on deck are Osaka, Bahia, Bhutan, and Rajasthan. Zhestia is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter. For more information on the project, check out the video below:
