Beginning November 4, visitors to San Francisco's Conservatory of Flowers (415/666-7001; www.conservatoryofflowers.org; through Feb. 26) can admire more than 100 specimens from the world's most diverse group of flowering plants: orchids. Growing workshops and floral-art classes complement the exhibition.
