So long as Mufasa's death scene in The Lion King hasn't scarred you for life, the wildebeest migration in Kenya is one of the most awe-inspiring events in nature. In fact, the beasts are so majestic that their travels are considered the 7th wonder of the natural world. And for the first time ever, the experience is being broadcast live over the internet.

Make It Kenya, in partnership with HerdTracker, is streaming video of the migration over Periscope twice daily from now until Tuesday, October 6. Over the course of this week, viewers can follow the 1.5 million animals as they make their way from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya.

In addition to footage of the animals, they will also be streaming interviews with lodge managers, safari guides, chefs, conservationists, and wildlife photographers for unique perspectives on the migration.
