Watch: Whale Watchers Get a (Not-So) Surprising Visitor

Sometimes the stars align and the trip you've been looking forward to exceeds your wildest expectations. This is exactly what happened for a group whale watching near Seward Alaska. Much to the delight of boater Brad Rich (the particularly excited individual recording the video below), a group of feeding whales—who missed the boat by inches—put on quite the show for watchers. Rich hears the whales before he spots them, right around 0:54 in the footage. Check it out:
