There's no avoiding lavender in Provence during its prime (late June to early August). The fragrant flower seems infiltrate every space with its vibrant blossoms—a very welcomed diversion some summertime. That being said, the lavender fields are a sight to be seen in person when you can really take in the scented scenes.
