Gone are the days of look-alike bellhops and stodgy concierges, now that fashion designers are dressing hotel staff. Michael Kors pairs teensy polos with pin-striped suits for W Hotels; Cynthia Rowley's fedoras and cords for Hotel Monaco are a seventies throwback; and Tibi designer Amy Smilovic styles valets in retro seersucker and waitresses in yellow frocks for the Cloister Hotel in Sea Island, Georgia.
