The citywide Art-Apalooza, which runs from December 6–9, always brings star-studded exhibits—along with free concerts and performance art pieces—to the city’s celebrated mini museums. The pioneering Latin-focused Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation (CIFO) is hosting a Fluxus Concert by artist/scene-vibrator Robert Chambers, and the Wolfsonian-FIU is blowing it all out with an installation by Stefan Sagmeister; a Dada celebration featuring the New World Symphony; and an exhibition on 1920’s French Moderne interiors, on view through May 2008. In Wynwood, the private Rubell Family Collection and the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse are also launching winter-long shows, culled from the owners’ impressive contemporary art collections.
