Butler service may be an expected amenity for luxury vacationers, but Royal Caribbean is introducing the comfort to some of its mass-marketed, budget cruises. This is the first time the brand has offered this feature to cruise ships embarking on some of Royal Caribbean's budget-friendly journeys. Dubbed Royal Genies, the butlers will deal with restaurant and other entertainment bookings, laundry requests, in-room dining, shore excursion itineraries, and they'll even mmix you a cocktail of choice from the comfort of your suite.

This new service will be offered beginning May 2016 for Royal Suite Class passengers traveling on the Quantam of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas vessels. Going along with the new Genies, three new service levels—Star Class, Sea Class, and Sky Class—will also open up to passengers marking the first time the brand has introduced a class hierarchy on these ships. Travelers in these classes can look forward to a private sundeck, free Internet, Fitness classes, upgraded in-room amenities, and a private restaurant. For more information on the new additions, head to the Royal Caribbean website.
