If you’re looking to add some intrigue to your next trip, check in to mystery author Agatha Christie’s former summer home, Greenway, in Devonshire, England. The 500-year-old house recently opened to the public after a $7.8 million renovation. Part of it has been converted into an apartment that aspiring sleuths can rent for groups of up to 10 people. The décor remains much as it was when the author lived there in the 1950’s: her writing desk still brims with paperwork; the library’s Turkish upholstered chairs are from her childhood residence; and the grand piano that she played for guests sits in the drawing room. It’s an ideal backdrop for a whodunit weekend. Apartment from $503 per night, three-night minimum.
