T+L Reports: Plane Pampering

Some commercial airlines may offer cashmere slippers and complimentary champagne, but frequent fliers still have to deal with flat hair and sore muscles. Starting this month, those who book private flights with Blue Star Jets' Air Salon (866/538-8463; www.bluestarjets.com) can have all their grooming needs tended to before touchdown. The journey begins prior to takeoff with an anti-aging meal custom-designed by nutritionist Oz Garcia. A flying team from the Warren-Tricomi Salon administers beauty treatments such as haircuts, manicures, and massages. Plastic surgeon Paul Lorenc is even on hand to perform Botox injections. Such luxuries don't come cheap, though: this salon starts at $1,000 per service, not including charter costs.
