1. Don’t miss the freestyle aerial ski show at Utah Olympic Park (3000 Bear Hollow Dr.; 435/658-4200; utahathleticfoundation.com), where Dakota trains in the warm weather. The skiers jump off ramps lined with plastic to simulate snow, and splash-land in a big pool. You can also ride the steepest zipline in the world.

2. Mountain bike more than 50 miles of wooded and high-meadow trails at Deer Valley Resort (2250 Deer Valley Dr. S.; 800/424-3337; deervalley.com).

3. Go to an outdoor concert at the Canyons Resort (4000 The Canyons Resort Dr.; 435/649-5400; thecanyons.com), and poke around the Wednesday-morning farmers’ market.

4. Zoom down the alpine slide at Park City Mountain Resort (1310 Lowell Ave.; 435/649-8111; pcski.com). There’s also miniature golf, horseback riding, and a bungee trampoline.

5. Visit the free museum at the old jail (538 Main St.; 435/649-6104; parkcityhistory.org), which dates back to the town’s mining days.

6. Take a trip to Lagoon Park (375 N. Lagoon Dr.; 800/748-5246; lagoonpark.com), a mini Disneyworld near Salt Lake City.

7. Spend a weekend camping in the Uintas (801/342-5100; fs.fed.us), a national forest 30 minutes from Park City by car. There’s great hiking, mountain biking, and canoeing. Keep an eye out for big-horn sheep.
