Made of water-resistant herringbone canvas with calfskin trim, the Acapulco (800/441-4488; hermes.com; $3,350, available in two sizes) packs timeless elegance into its streamlined, signature-orange 19½ by 16 inches. There are two roomy exterior pockets, a zippered compartment, and a tough PVC frame that might just handle turbulence better than you do.
