New Budget Airline

ExpressJet (www.xjet.com), the Houston offspring of Continental Airlines, is taking to the skies. The low-cost carrier, which launched in April, flies on 50-seat jets to nine U.S. cities including Boise, Idaho; Spokane, Washington; and Kansas City, Missouri, with 15 other destinations to be added this month. In addition to serving its own wine label and meals on every flight, the airline offers more than 100 channels of free XM satellite radio at each seat.
