Walk into Kechmara, Marrakesh's most stylish restaurant, and you'll think you're in Notting Hill: the furniture is by Verner Panton and Eero Saarinen, the lighting is Murano glass and space-age chrome, and the menu is French with an international spin (try the entrecôte with frites and lemon sauce). Brothers Pascal and Arnaud Foltran reworked a grease-stained auto shop in the trendy Guéliz neighborhoodinto a design oasis, and now it's crowded with the Red City's jeunesse dorée, who hit the bar and the bamboo-shaded rooftop terrace not just for frosty cocktails and Marquise cigarettes but also for the rotating exhibitions by Moroccan and European photographers.
