What's keeping everyone up late in the sleepy colonial town of San Miguel de Allende?Plum, a tapas bar with the area's first champagne cocktail menu. The spare space, all in shades of (you guessed it) purple, is filled with low-but-comfortable metal furniture designed by owners Jorge Almada and Anne-Marie Midy. They've also created a line of products atypical for Mexico—sleek aluminum trays, a travel backgammon set in buttery leather—that are shown at Plum and available for sale.
