Two Côte d'Azur cultural institutions are fêting their anniversaries this year. Grimaldi Forum Monaco, which turns five, presents "Arts of Africa" (377/99-99-20-00; www.grimaldiforum.com; through Sept. 4), curated by fabled architect Ettore Sottsass, with contemporary works from Swiss entrepreneur Jean Pigozzi's collection. In St.-Tropez, Musée de L'Annonciade marks its 50th year with "Éclats du Fauvisme: 1905–1907" (33-4/94-17-84-10; through Oct. 17), a show of color-saturated canvases by the likes of Matisse and Derain.
